The UAE government’s feed on the Dubai Media Office’s account confirmed that the plane crash-landed. "All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far," it said.

Flightradar24, which monitors flights, said on Twitter that the Emirates' Boeing 777-300, flying from Thiruvananthapuram in India, had caught fire on landing. All inbound and outgoing flights at the airport have been suspended or diverted, it said.
