TEHRAN (ISNA)- The second round of negotiations between Iran and Canada was held, said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for US and Europe, Majid Takht-Ravanchi.




He also said that time has not ripe yet for reviving relations between Iran and Britain at the level of ambassador.


“The second round of political meeting between Iran and the EU would be most likely to be held either in September or October in Brussels,” he told ISNA in an exclusive interview.


Ravanchi further said that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is likely to visit some European countries by the end of 2016.


“We are in contact with Canada and so far we have had negotiations with officials of the country. The first round of the meeting was held in New York and there was another meeting as well.”


He further said that new Canadian government should distant from hostile approach of the previous government. “This difference should be both in terms of approach and rules already approved against Iran.”
