Accra, July 26, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is on a visit to Ghana, met Ghanaian Parliament Speaker Edward Doe Adjaho on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two sides underlined the need for the expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Accra.

They also discussed ways for cooperation on fighting terrorism.

Zarif began his four-nation tour of Western Africa on Sunday at the head of a political-economic delegation.

On the first leg of his African tour, Zarif visited Nigeria.

Zarif is also due to visit Conakry Guinea and Mali.

Managers of 38 economic companies are accompanying Zarif in his tour of West Africa.
