TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined that the Islamic Republic will not cease its backing for world's needy nations.

"The Islamic Revolution has been always inspiring for other nations and changed the world equations," Brigadier General Dehqan said, addressing a gathering in the Northern city of Sari on Thursday.

The Iranian defense minister called for the vigilance of the Iranian nation, and said, "The enemies are trying to force the Iranians obey their demands by imposing restrictions on them."

Brigadier General Dehqan said that the enemy is resorting to propaganda tools to harm the Islamic values and beliefs.

In relevant remarks in early May, Brigadier General Dehqan underscored his country's support for the Palestinian groups which resist against the Zionist regime's tyranny and occupation.

"The secret of victory over the Zionist regime and the liberation of the Holy al-Qods lie in the unity of all Muslims," Brigadier General Dehqan said in a meeting with Head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement.

He reiterated that Iran will stay beside the oppressed and defenseless Palestinian nation until the end.

"The goal of the big powers is to wage war, create turmoil and promote terrorism in the region in a bid to guarantee the security of the Zionist regime and forget the Palestinian cause," Brigadier General Dehqan said.
