Tehran, July 18, IRNA – Iran’s leading vehicle manufacturer SIAPA is going to finalize a deal with France’s Cintroen soon, its Managing Director Mehdi Jamali said.
Talking to IRNA on Monday, he said the deal serves the goal of promoting the Economy of Resistance policies set by the Supreme Leader.
Noting that the deal is the first of the kind to happen in the Iranian car industry, he said it entails export of 30 percent of the joint products.
He stressed that according to the agreement, Citroen will co-produce the latest makes of cars in Iran.
The Managing Director also noticed that another contract is underway with Japan’s Nissan which is awaiting the implementation phase.
