Russian President Vladimir Putin may pay official visit to Baku in August to meet the leaders of Iran and Azerbaijan.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The possibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Baku in August to meet the leaders of Iran and Azerbaijan is under discussion, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
"[It is] under discussion," Peskov told RIA Novosti, answering a question about Putin's plans to visit Azerbaijan.
Earlier in the day, Iranian media reported that President Hassan Rouhani planned to visit Azerbaijan to participate in trilateral meeting with Putin and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.
