Tehran, June 19, The Iran Project - An Iranian lawmaker believes that Saudi Arabia is the spiritual father of terrorist groups like Daesh takfiri group meanwhile accuses Iran for destabilization of the region.

Speaking to a reporter on Sunday in reaction to the joint statement of the US and Saudi Arabia against Iran, Mohammad Javad Jamali Nobandegani, a member of parliament’s National Security Council and Foreign Policy Commission deemed Saudi's accusation of Iran of destabilization of the region as a forward escape, pointing to Saudi Arabia as the spiritual father of terrorist groups and Daesh takfiri group in particular.

Describing the US and Saudi Arabia as the main threats to the stability of the Middle East, he underlined that the destabilization which is created by them made Iran a regional power.

Underscoring the country’s role in supporting the stability of the region, Jamali said that if Iran doesn't help the crisis-hit countries of the region, many of them would be wiped off the Middle East map.

“The US supports of Saudi Arabia are in line with forming a new Middle East dominated by America,” said the lawmaker.

Daesh, also known as the ISIS, is an Iraq, Syria and Libya-based terrorist group that adheres to what it believes to be a pure version of Islam. They justify their numerous crimes, including cruel forms of capital punishment, by the tenets of how they imagine the religion.

Daesh would not have been able to achieve what it has today without Saudi help. Riyadh, according to the analysts, both serves as an inspiration for the brutal group and benefits from the chaos it has wreaked in Iraq, Syria and beyond.
