Tehran, June 18, IRNA – The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Disciplinary Affairs Hossein Zolfeqari on Saturday explored the ways to tackle issues consistent with refugees.


Meanwhile, Grandi held talks with Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli.

After the meeting, Fazli and Grandi are to give joint press conference.

Grandi will also attend a ceremony on the Refugee Day on Saturday.

Grandi and his accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday for a two-day official visit.

Visiting Qom, the delegation was kept abreast of refugee situation, including their educational status.

A national convention is underway in the holy city of Qom to mark the Refugee Day.
