Bojnourd, North Khorasan prov., June 14, IRNA – North Khorasan province exported some 76,500 tons products fetching $8,700,000 in the past two months of current Iranian year 1395 (ended on March 20, 2016).


According to the public relations office of North Khorasan province Department of Industry, Mine and Trade, the export plan of the province for the current Iranian year was $190m, 4.6% of which has so far been materialized.

Yahya Nikdel said that the export fell 69.5% in terms of cost and 26% in terms of weight compared to the preceding period.

Exported products consisted petrochemical products (urea, melamine, ammonia), steel products, plastic products, construction materials (cement, building skeleton, steel parts), food materials (tomato paste, chicken leg), agricultural products (potato), carpet and artificial paper.

He added that product were exported to Iraq, Tajikistan, Qatar, Turkey, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, India, Bahrain, Germany, Kuwait, Portugal and Spain.
