Tehran, June 12, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei gave a three-billion-rial aid to help free the prisoners held in jails on financial charges.


The Iranians participate in a feast every year to help free the prisoners jailed due to their incapability to pay for their debts.

Ayatollah Khamenei also allocates a sum of money every year for this purpose.

People from across Iran take part in this charity-like move to secure the freedom of their compatriots.
