Orumiyah, West Azarbaijan prov, May 30, IRNA – Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohammad Shariatmadari said the Iranian government will offer guarantees for foreign investments despite exiting problems.

Talking to a group of provincial people living outside the country here in northwest of Iran on Sunday, he said the government is willing to remove the obstacles on investments by Iranians living in foreign countries in Iran by offering investment incentives.

He said relevant ministries are trying to prepare the necessary ground for absorbing foreign investors.

The vice president further said that the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will further encourage investments in Iran.

Stating that removal of the United Nations sanctions against Iran after signing of a nuclear deal has facilitated travel of foreign investors to Iran, the official expressed hope that the remaining banking obstacles would be removed soon.
