TEHRAN (ISNA)- Greek Ambassador to Tehran Giorgos Ginatis said that in mutual economic, trade and commercial exchanges between the two countries there is no problem for transferring money under current situation.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Head of Alborz province Chamber of Commerce Rahim Bana Mowlaei on Monday.
Greek Foreign Ministry secretary general for international economic relations Giorgos Tsipras was also present in the meeting.
The ambassador said that until final removal of SWIFT-related problems, Greek banks are ready to cooperate with Iranian companies for transfer money.
Ginatis said that to develop trade ties between the two countries exchange of visits between officials of both countries is necessary and invited Bana Mowlaei and a trade delegation from Alborz province to visit Greece.
Tsipras expressed his country's interest in develop trade ties with Iran, especially with Alborz province and said that establishment of direct flights between the two countries could facilitate presence of Iranian companies in European markets.
He expressed Greece's readiness for cooperation in the field of tourism and construction of hotels and tourist complexes in Karaj.
The Head of Alborz Chamber of Commerce introduces capabilities and industrial and trade potentials of the province and welcomed cooperation with Greece.
Bana Mowlaei said that Alborz province is ready for cooperation and joint investment with Greece in the fields of manufacturing auto spare parts, textiles, food products, medicine and high-tech technology.
He also explained advantages of Payam Special Economic Zone in Alborz province.
