President: Iran is not a bipolar country

11 May 2016 - 13:19

Kerman, May 11, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said Iran is not a bipolar country and there is no confrontation between the high ranking officials.

'Showing Iran as such a country is one of enemies' conspiracies against it,' said President Rouhani describing the plot as 'enemy propaganda'.

Rouhani made the remarks while addressing a meeting in this southeastern Iranian province on Wednesday morning.

'All three branches of the Government in Iran are working together, while the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution solves any problems the three branches may face,' he said.

'The duty of the foreign media is this…they find words from different people, then paraphrase them in a way they want,' noted the President.

'All Iranian officials in the three branches of power are doing their work under the supervision of the Supreme Leader,' said the President, adding that they all follow the same goal that is development of morality and spirituality in the country.

The more united a country is, the more developed it will be, he added.

President Rouhani arrived in Kerman Tuesday for a two-day visit to pay a provincial tour here.
