Tehran, April 28, The Iran Project - Former Malaysia Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad says US will fail in military strike against Iran as Iranians won’t retreat in the face of invaders and can defeat any enemy.

Being interviewed by the Iranian journal of culture and humanities, ‘Asre Andisheh’, former Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad expressed his views on different political issues, Israel’s future, and Iran-US military conflict.

Speaking about US-Iran military conflict, former Malaysian leader said in the event of a military conflict, US will certainly fail since the Iranian nation and government will fight to the death and cannot be easily defeated, like Iraqis.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Dr. Mahathir Mohammad expressed his views on the future of Israel and said in next quarter century Israel won’t exist any more as a terrorist state that threatens and murders Palestinians and occupies their territories.

Earlier, addressing a large number of Iranians in Tehran, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has described Israel as a “fake” regime, and said there won’t be any Israel in 25 years from now.Until then, the heroic spirit and morale of Muslim fighters will not let the Zionists feel comfort and tranquility in the next 25 years.
