Tehran, April 26, IRNA – Head of Department of Environment said a big revolution is needed in dealing with nature and environment in order to rescue the earth and mankind.
Massoumeh Ebtekar said continuation of people’s behavior towards the environment and incorrect consumption patterns in Iran and the world are impossible.
Addressing a local meeting attended by masters of music and a number of musicians and artists, Ebtekar said recent signing of Paris climate deal by 175 world countries including Iran in New York was a good action in line with modification of human behavior towards the earth.
She further welcomed green music fests, saying holding such festivals nationally and internationally is helpful.
She made the remarks while referring to successful experience in holding international green film fest that was a link between cinema and the environment.
Ebtekar hoped such moves will continue in other areas of art.
