Moscow may buy 40 tonnes from Arak nuclear facility
Moscow is contemplating a possibility of buying from 40 tonnes of heavy water from a nuclear facility in Iran, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on April 26.
“We are in fact contemplating such a possibility,” Mikhail Ulyanov, head of the ministry's department for non-proliferation and arms control, told Interfax.
He was commenting on Tehran's claims about talks with Russia over a sale to Moscow of 40 tonnes of heavy water from the nuclear facility in Arak.
