A Qatar Airways flight from from Doha to Budapest was diverted to Iranian capital Tehran after suffering engine failure, resulting in a delay of several hours.
The Airbus A321, performing flight QR-947 on February 20, was carrying 158 passengers when the crew was forced to shut down one of the engines, Aviation Herald reported. The flight landed safely at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport, before a replacement A321 flew passengers to the Hungarian capital at a delay of seven hours.
Qatar Airways did not immediately respond to Arabian Business's request for comment on the incident.
