Russian Foreign Ministry said that United States is unable to influence the Russian deliveries of the S-300 air defense systems to Iran.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The United States is unable to influence the Russian deliveries of the S-300 air defense systems to Iran since the hardware is not included in the sanctions list of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

"The S-300 complex is not a subject of UN sanctions," Director of the Second Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Zamir Kabulov told RIA Novosti.
