Tehran, March 12, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani in a message congratulated Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on his election as the African country's new president.


According to the Presidential Office website, President Rouhani hoped that bilateral ties will further be improved in all fields during his tenure.

Hailing the two countries' friendly and ancient ties as well as numerous areas of cooperation, Iranian president also voiced optimism that bilateral relations will further bolster in all areas.

He also wished the Ugandan new president good health and success and the nation dignity and prosperity.
