Tehran, March 1, The Iran Project – The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) unveiled 20 books on the cultural threats of extremism in Tehran on Tuesday during a ceremony with attendance of Iran’s senior officials.
On the sidelines of the Congress on “Islamic Republic of Iran, Opportunities and Cultural Challenges of Extremism” on Tuesday in Tehran, the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) unveiled 20 books related to the topic of the cultural threats of extremism on Tuesday.
The ceremony which was held in the organization’s hall was attended by Ali Akbar Velayati, Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman and Hojatoleslam Mohsen Qomi.
The collection of articles on extremism in Arab World and Europe, the collection of meetings on extremism in Europe and Arab world, mainstreaming the Salafi and Takfiri groups, the collection of articles on extremism in Central Asia and the nature of extremist-Takfiri factions are among the titles of the books unveiled.
During his speech in the congress, Ali-Akbar Velayati, the Supreme Leader’s advisor for International Affairs stressed the necessity of taking cultural measures to fight against the anti-cultural moves by ISIS.
