TEHRAN (ISNA)- Ali Akbar-Velayati, a top adviser to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei is likely to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) seminar in Russia, a Russian source said.

The conference is scheduled for April 19-20, said executive manager of SCO conference committee.

Russia has sent over 150 letters of invitations for the seminar and received 50 positive responses from Syria, Indonesia, Iran and Afghanistan.

He said that Russia has sent letters of invitation for Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif as well
