Moscow, Feb 15, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan arrived in Moscow on Monday heading a high-ranking defense delegation.

Upon arrival in the airport, Dehqan was warmly welcomed by deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The Iranian minister's visit is taking place upon an official invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoygu.

While in Russia, Dehqan is slated to discuss Iran-Russia cooperation and issues of mutual interest with several high-ranking Russian officials.

Iran-Russia relations are in a favorable status and the two sides are cooperating in various domains.
