Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said that his recent visit to Rome and Paris has managed to secure foreign investments and to counter Iranophobic activities.
He made the statements chairing a cabinet session on Sunday evening during which ministers presented their activity reports on signing of contracts, agreements, and MoUs as well as negotiations held with their Italian and French counterparts.
He said the documents signed will attract foreign investment, secure transfer of technology, expand exports, and create job opportunities as stipulated by the resistive economy policies.
'Expansion of international interactions, countering the Iranophobia project, and decisive failure of sanctions were additional objectives achieved during the visit made shortly after implementation of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action),' he added.
President Rouhani also said that the respectful reception of his delegation and the interest of the host countries for cooperation with Iran were other characteristics of the visit.
