Tehran, January 30, The Iran Project – Over 36 faculty members from Iran's technological and industrial universities are enlisted as the top one-percent highly cited researchers, Thomson Reuters announced.
Based on the latest report released by the official website of Essential Science Indicators of Thomson Reuters, some 36 faculty members from four Iranian technological universities are enlisted among the highest-cited scientists and researchers in the world.
Thomson Reuters which regularly provides an updated list of the most leading researchers and scientists in the world based on the last 10 years of the academic career, has announced that 14 faculty members from Sharif University of Technology, eight from Isfahan University of Technology, seven from Amirkabir University of Technology and seven others from the Iran's Science and Industry University are among the top one percent of the most cited scientists of the world.
According to the announcement, Sharif University of Technology ranks first among the Iranian Universities with the highest number of leading researchers.
Thomson Reuters regularly releases lists from professionals with the intelligence, technology and human expertise that are at the forefront of their fields.
