TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (Shana) – The administrator of the South Pars gas field’s phases 17 and 18 said that condensates from the phases will be exported to South Korea within the next two weeks.
Hassan Boveiri told Shana that following removal of sanctions and lifting the ban on import of the gas field’s equipment in the last two weeks, some 90 international companies have entered the field and started their operation with the equipment they brought in.
“This can expedite the development of phases 17 and 18,” he said adding that with the implementation of nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), things have returned to normal.
“Currently, two main platforms located at the phases 17 and 18 are in production. We hope that offshore operation will be completed by next winter,” Boveiri said.
