TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) – Nima Javidi’s feature film Melbourne will be screened in four American film festivals over the next few weeks.
Iranian director Nima Javidi’s debut feature movie Melbourne will be shown in Washington DC’s Iranian Film Festival, Houston Iranian Film Festival at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Iranian Film Festival as well as Iranian Film Festival at Chicago's Gene Siskel Film Center in the next 30 days.
Melbourne received a screening at Prague’s Iranian Film Festival last month.
The film recounts the story of a young couple on their way to Melbourne to continue their studies; however, just a few hours before their departure flight, they are unintentionally involved in a tragic event.
Melbourne has so far been screened at several international film festivals including 10th edition of Zurich International Film Festival, 27th Tokyo International Film Festival, as well as IndieLisboa and Belgium International Film Festivals.
