Shahre-Rey, Jan 19, IRNA – Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbass Salehi said on Monday that Iran-Afghanistan commonalties are today more than the past.
Salehi told a Poetry Festival that Iran-Afghanistan commonalties in the past three decades are times higher than those in the past century.
He said presence of millions of Afghanistan in Iran have added up to mutual engagement and communications.
He added that during the Sacred War, thousands of Afghans lost their lives and tens of thousand Afghans turned war veterans.
