TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (MNA) – The 6th International Conference on Nanostructures (ICNS6) will be held on Kish Island, Iran, early March 2016.

 


Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INST) of Sharif University of Technology is to organize the 6th International Conference on Nanostructures (ICNS6) with special support of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC).

The aim of the Conference is to gathering well-known national and international scientists and researchers to meet, exchange ideas, share new knowledge and present advances in the fields of Nanoscience and Nanostructures.

ICNS6 is an important international and multi-disciplinary event in the field of nanotechnology.

The international event will cover a wide range of topics including Low-dimensional Nanostructures, Carbon-based Nanostructures, Nanobiomaterials and Nanomedicine, and Nanosensors and Nanobiosensors among other topics.

Notable speakers to attend the conference include Prof. Sir Mark Edward Welland, Head of the Nanoscience Center, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, England; Prof. Paul S. Weiss, California Nano Systems Institute Director, University of California, USA; and Prof. Kenneth Suslick, Department of Chemistry, University of Illinois, USA.

ICNS6 will be held in beautiful Kish Island- Iran on March 7-10, 2016.
