Ankara, Jan 12, IRNA – Enemies are making endeavors to spoil relations between Tehran and Ankara, Iran's Ambassador to Turkey Ali Reza Bigdeli said.
After the ambassadors conference here, Bigdeli told Haberturk newspaper that diplomats try to expand bilateral ties while enemies want to tarnish those relations.
'Our power will conquer the enemies', he added.
In near future, good events will happen in line with Iran-Turkey relations, he said.
The region needs agreement and cooperation, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said at the ambassadors conference.
As he said, Turkey is ready to help remove the existing problem between Tehran and Riyadh.
Ankara attaches importance to its relations with Tehran, Cavusoglu stressed.
After the execution of a prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, a group of youth gathered 'illegally' in front of Saudi Embassy in Tehran and damaged the embassy's building on January 2.
On the pretext of the issue of its embassy, Riyadh has formed a so-called anti-Iran coalition and is trying to add members to that coalition by taking unwise measures.
