Tehran, Jan 11, IRNA – Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Monday that it has only started preliminary works for removing the heart of Arak nuclear reactor.


In reaction to media reports over completion of the removal operation, AEOI director of public relations told IRNA that the organization is acting on the guidelines of the Supreme Leader in this regard.
'AEOI has to finish the agreed actions by the implementation day as stipulated by the Supreme Leader,' he said.
'In this relations, certain ground work started,' he added, 'but no action was completed on removing the heart of the reactor.'
