TEHRAN, Dec. 28 (MNA) – In its international tour, Iranian short film When Sanam Cried will now attend the competition section of Los Angeles CineFest.
Directed by Fariborz Ahanin and Majid Sheyda, the Iranian work will be screened in the festival which will be held on January 9 and 10.
When Sanam Cried has attended several international festivals so far including Armenia’s International Women's Film Festival and Phoenix Film Festival Melbourne. The Caminhos Film Festival in Portugal also awarded the Iranian movie with the Best Film title.
The film tells the story of Sanam, a 6 year old girl, who hasn't cried even at her birth time. However her sister Saba shares a film of her on the internet and asks people to send her ways to solve the problem.
