Tehran, Dec 21, IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani registered as a candidate in the country’s forthcoming Assembly of Experts elections here on Monday.


The official registration of candidates for the fifth Assembly of Experts elections started nationwide on Thursday (Dec 17).

Potential candidates can register for the elections until December 23.

The Parliament and Assembly of Experts elections will be simultaneously held on February 26, 2016 across the country.
