Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Ankara has no plans of compensating Russia for the downing of the Su-24 Fencer bomber jet.

ANKARA (Sputnik) – Turkey has no plans of compensating Russia for the downing of the Su-24 Fencer bomber jet in November by the Turkish Air Force over Syrian territory, Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Tanju Bilgic said Wednesday.

“It’s impossible to fulfill the demand of Russia on compensation for the downed airplane,” CNN Turk quoted Bilgic as saying.
