Birjand, Nov 15, IRNA -- Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran Odyssey Norheim underlined that her country is willing to broaden economic and trade ties with Iran.
“Many countries in Europe, including Norway, are willing to cooperate and expand trade relations with Iran,” Norheim said on Sunday, addressing a group of Iranian economic activists in the city of Birjand.
She noted that many Norwegian companies and organizations that used to cooperate with Iran have once again shown interest in resuming their activities.
Norheim, heading a delegation for a two-day visit to Birjand, reiterated that there will be more venues for cooperation with Iran after the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
She noted that the Norwegian companies are willing to cooperate with Iran in the field of oil and oil products, and said, “Another field of cooperation is marine products.”
