TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi would visit Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador in coming days.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif plans to visit Latin American countries to meet with officials of these countries.

Ambassadors and political representatives of Latin American countries met with Ravanchi and other senior Foreign Ministry officials here in Tehran.

The representatives of Latin American countries were from Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentine, Nicaragua.

They stressed boosting bilateral ties between Iran and these countries in different fields.

They also expressed the hope that bilateral economic ties between Iran and these countries would hit an acceptable level after lifting sanctions.
