TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian national futsal team failed to win the 2015 Grand Prix, being defeated by Brazil 4-3 in the final match on Sunday.

Colombia came third after defeating Paraguay 1-0 in the bronze medal match.

Iran beat Colombia (4-1), Angola (7-0), Uruguay (7-3) and Paraguay (2-0) respectively in the competition.

The international tournament held in Uberaba, Brazil, from November 4 to 8.

The 2015 Grand Prix de Futsal was the tenth edition of the international futsal competition of the same kind as the FIFA Futsal World Cup but with invited nations and held annually in Brazil.

Brazil has won nine titles out of 10 editions.
