Moscow, Nov 3, IRNA – Head of Iranian Guilds Association said on Tuesday that despite news issued in virtual space on issuance of licenses for activities of American or other foreign fast food stores in Iran no such license has been issued yet.
Some websites had recently announced that license for activities in Iran of a famous US fast food chain store have been issued. Yet, no Iranian official source, including the Industries, Mines and Trade Ministry, has yet confirmed the news.
Ali Fazeli told IRNA that if an individual, or a group is involved in such activities they will be dealt with legally.
He said that all guilds throughout Iran have been informed about the matter.
The head of Iranian Guilds Association said that an Iranian Halal food has established chain stores in some supermarkets, but it does not have any branches abroad yet.
Fazeli also said that if any individual, or group is interested in working as Iranian agents of any foreign food company they initially have to file requests for related licenses at the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade and then they have to pursue the case at the Iranian Guilds Association.
