Tehran, November 2, The Iran Project – Iran's Chamber of Commerce and the department of Science and Technology established a joint committee to fulfill the implementation of the knowledge-based firms' law.
Mohsen Jalal Pour, head of Iran's chamber of commerce made the remarks in a joint meeting with Sorena Sattari, the head of the National Elites Foundation (Bonyad-e Melli-e Nokhbegan), and the Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology on Monday morning.
Jalalpour noted that the meeting is being held in post-sanction era which aims to support the knowledge-based firms in Iran. He also said that Iran's development is no longer possible through oil resources, adding that development process should be sought through the private sectors.
Highlighting the need to establish a committee to ease the way of law implementation; he voiced the chamber's full readiness to cooperate with the science and technology department to fulfill the law to support the knowledge-based firms.
In this meeting, Sorena Sattari, Iranian vice president, underscored the need to establish development and research unites in all firms, in order to provide jobs for over 32 millions of young Iranians.
Noting the various exemptions in the law of knowledge- based firms, he added that the tax, customs and military service exemptions and reliefs are about to offer to the firms.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted the establishment of the joint committee to fulfill the law to support the firms, stressing the cooperation with chamber of commerce to ensure the full implementation of the law.
