1 Nov 2015 - 18:23

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian condemned Saudi foreign minister’s remarks as ‘baseless’.

“Do not test the patience of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said.

He made the remarks after Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir claimed that Iran was smuggling weapons to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

“We regard remarks of Saudi foreign minister as absolutely unfounded and we warn him not to test the patience of the Islamic Republic.”

He also called on the Saudi foreign minister to accept responsibility of his country in Mina tragedy and stop hide and open support for terrorists in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

The Iranian official said that Saudi Arabia should not use small countries as Bahrain as an instrument for its wrong policies.
