Saudi prince auctions off Yemeni artifacts

An official with the General People’s Congress in Yemen has accused a Saudi prince of plundering and smuggling as many as 63 Yemeni artifacts, saying that Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd has tried to auction off the Yemeni historical items in London, according to Sam Press News Website.

The Yemeni intelligence agencies say that the Saudi prince has put on sale a number of Ma’rib’s historical items worth hundreds of millions of dollars and auctioned them off in London, the same official said, accusing Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the fugitive Yemeni president, and Saudi agents of pillaging the country’s artifacts and smuggling them into Saudi Arabia.The official also called on the international community to help end the Saudi aggression against Yemen and smuggling its historical items.
