Tehran, Oct 18, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani inaugurated a gathering of knowledge-based economic firms and innovators here on Sunday.

About one thousand experts active in the area are attending the event.

The gathering, being held for the first time in the country, is to focus on the entrepreneurship through knowledge-based economic activities.

20 knowledge-based firms active in IT, e-commerce, biotechnology, eco-technology, electricity and electronics are showcasing highlights of their activities and achievements on the sidelines of the gathering.
