Tehran, October 11, The Iran Project – To celebrate the World Post Day, Iran's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on Sunday unveiled two new postage stamps.
Coincided with the world Post day and in the honor of the Persian mystic poet Hafez two golden and silver stamps of Hafez were unveiled at a ceremony in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
21 more new services and projects also were inaugurated at the unveiling ceremony including the electronic trade and direct electronic mail.
Six other postal infrastructure development projects were opened in the ceremony in presence of Mahmoud Vaezi the minister of Communication and Information Technology and his deputy chiefs.
Earlier, the ministry unveiled the martyr divers and the nuclear scientists stamps to honor the martyr nuclear scientists and 175 Iranian diverse who were reportedly buried alive with their hands tied during the Iran-Iraq war back in 1980s.
