New York, Oct 9, IRNA – Economy and Treasure Minister Ali Tayyebnia in an address in Joint Annual Meeting of World Bank and International Monetary Fund said that a new Chapter has opened in Iran's economic relations with the world.

'Iran is among the countries with broad economic potentials, which can emerge as a new economic power in the world after some two decades of absence in international markets,' he said.

Tayyebnia referred to Iran's natural resources, strategic status, educated human force, large consumer market and appropriate infrastructures as only a part of economic privileges of Iran.

'All those privileges are, but a part of the positive aspects of the Iranian economy, which makes it quite unique among the entire Middle East countries,' he said.
