Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi said on Wednesday keeping in mind the emergence of numerous problems in the Middle East, shape-taking of serious will to resolve them is a dire necessity today.
Sarmadi made the comment in a meeting with the visiting head of the Czech Republic Senate's Foreign Relations Commission Frantishk Bublan, adding that it is high time for comprehensive expansion of bilateral ties.
'Iran is ready for broad expansion of its relations with the Czech Republic based on mutual respect and securing both nations' interests,' said Sarmadi.
The top Czech senator, too, expressing delight over his chance to visit Iran said that his country is quite ready for comprehensive expansion of its relations and boosting cooperation with Iran, especially in economic and parliamentary fields.
'Keeping in mind Iran's role in the region and its military and political power, the world nations have come up with the conclusion that problem solving in the Middle East is impossible in absence of Iran,' he added.
The two sides agreed on the need for international cooperation to uproot terrorism in the Middle East.
