Tehran, September 30, The Iran Project – In separate remarks, Iranian senior clerics have strongly denounce Saudis for Mina tragedy.

In a meeting with the officials of International Congress of Imam Sajjad (AS), grand Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Alavi Gorgani said Mina event was a great tragedy and Saudis incompetence would always be recorded in history.

Referring to Mina deadly incident, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedai said the event made the world know Al-Saud.

Saying that Saudis will not let the dead people be transferred to the country, the Shiite cleric also stressed that repatriating the dead to Iran will further reveal Saudis cruelty.

Moreover, Ayatollah Sobhani stated that the Mina tragedy has long been affected Muslim community, adding god will surely take revenge on those who are responsible for this tragic incident.

The fatal crush in the Saudi town of Mina occurred on September 24 after two large crowds of pilgrims, who were on their way to participate in the symbolic stoning of Satan, a Hajj ritual, collided.
