TEHRAN, Sep. 29 (MNA) – Iran's deputy science minister for research and technology said that European countries are keen in boosting scientific ties with Iran and added that a Swiss delegation will visit Iran.
Talking about expansion of international ties, Vahid Ahmadi said that European countries are eager to develop international relations and scientific ties with Iran since our country enjoys a great scientific and technological level in the region and it is the regional center for technology development by UNESCO.
He added “so far delegations from different countries namely Germany, Italy, Austria and France have visited Iran and inked MoUs. Moreover, a delegation from Switzerland is supposed to visit as well.”
The Iranian official also noted that relations with regional countries including Kazakhstan and Central Asia have been reinforced; some two months ago the Center of Expansion of Knowledge-based Companies was established in Kazakhstan and currently, related Iranian firms can work there.
“Expanding regional ties are significant for Iran; firslty, for presenting technology in the region and secondly, for expanding bilateral ties with European countries,” he concluded.
