Tehran, Sept 20, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said the Islamic world is sound asleep in face of what is going on in Palestine.

Addressing the opening of the Sunday morning session of Majlis, he said the Islamic world is forcing itself into sleep in regards with Palestine developments, giving the Zionist regime the chance to misuse the situation the best it could.
He referred to “very horrendous and insulting” incidents in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Palestine during the past few nights which coincided with the chaotic states of relationships existing among Islamic countries and said the Zionist regime is misusing this to insult the first Qibla of Muslims.
The Speaker condemned the Zionist regime heinous act and called on all international bodies including the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation to play an active role in this regard.
