TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian energy sector could be a reliable source for Bangladesh, said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to expand bilateral ties with Bangladesh and the trade obstacles to the development of mutual cooperation between the two countries should be removed,” he said in a meeting with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka.
Sheikh Hasina, for her part, welcomed widening bilateral ties between the two countries in different fields, including culture and economy.
She also called for exchanging more trade delegations between Tehran and Dhaka.
