Muhammad, the Messenger of God, directed by Majid Majidi, has made more than $1.2 million at the box office in a bit more than two weeks.

The biopic that focuses on the life of the Muslim Prophet is being screened in 40 movie theaters in Tehran and 88 others in the provinces.
