Mashad, Aug 26, IRNA – Evidence indicates that Iran is on the right path to become an ideal society based on Quranic teachings, says head of the Expediency Council.

'The Iranian society is increasingly embracing vigilance,' said Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani addressing a group of academics, media people, war veterans and their families of Khorasan Razavi Province on Tuesday.
The colonialist and dictators are seeing their dreams shattered as nations are increasingly becoming vigilant, Rafsanjani said, warning against influence of the extremist terrorist groups in the region.
'Those who are dreaming today to disintegrate the Islamic countries are the same who plotted to disintegrate Iran at the dawn of the Islamic Revolution,' he said, 'but the people's all-out presence and the leadership of the Late Imam caused the abortion of their conspiracies.'
